NRS / NAC

A Nevada Long Term Care Administrator’s license will not be issued until you have successfully passed the NAB (National Board of Examiners of Long Term Care Administrators) Examination.

For a Nursing Facility Administrator, you must have a degree from a four-year college or university. A two-year degree is not acceptable.  Additionally, you must have completed 1,000 hours of an Administrator-in-Training Program in not less than 26 weeks (see NAC Chapter 654.100, Section2, Subsection (b). 
 
 

Application Packet Request

This service is for individuals who wish to receive an application packet for their own use in applying for licensure or certification in the state of Nevada.  Application packet requests from individuals must specify the type of application required – either for Residential Care/Assisted Living or Nursing Home Administrator.  Each packet contains Instructions, Requirements, Information, Application Form and Documents, and Instructions regarding the testing procedure for the NAB National Examination that is required to become licensed in the State of Nevada.  All requests must be accompanied by cashier’s check, money order or business check only (we do not accept personal checks or credit cards) in the amount of $10.00 and mailed to:
